Position Summary

Assist with overall payroll processing, various deductions, communicating with employees regarding payroll questions

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and summarize timekeeping information
  • Obtain supervisory approval of time card discrepancies
  • Process garnishment and child support requests
  • Manual check calculation and processing
  • Verify new hire information entered into payroll system
  • Check pending transactions in system for changes, such as direct deposit, address change and taxes
  • Calculate pay increases
  • Verifications of employment
  • Notify new hires of eligibility of Company benefits to enroll
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar preferred but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, tables, etc.)
  • Paylocity, ADP, Workday, and/or Ultimate Software experience
  • Corporate or other office experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work extra hours as needed
