Job Description:

  • Responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, resident relations, site staff supervision, and budgetary aspects of multiple sites
  • Must have the ability to process tax-credit recertifications and interview residents for eligibility
  • Timely in processing of all paperwork
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in a positive manner with the residents, operate the property in accordance with the MBM policies and procedures manual, and the management plan for the property
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a positive relationships with the residents, community, and city agencies
  • Process technical paperwork, including legal documents if necessary
  • Must problem solve and complete other assignments and job duties given
  • Interview potential on-site talent and hold other employee's to high expectations

Qualifications:

  • HS/GED required with experience as a Property Manager
  • Strong management, leasing, and marketing skills are critical
  • Create a customer focused environment and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Yardi experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of manuals and documents
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations
  • Tax-credit and public housing experience combined with strong operations background are preferred
  • Organization skills required
  • Travel to multiple sites in the area is required
