Summary:

This position is responsible for the analysis, support and problem resolution of internal and external technical tools to enhance workflow coordination for the MBS development division. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop familiarity with all project development process, and tools and reporting requirements used to achieve milestones of pipeline projects.

  • Analysis of how different database systems operate to solve problems, including but not limit to: Yardi, Timberline, Datastart, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet and Integratec

  • Actively participate in workflow assignments to understand best practices for software systems and output

  • Align development tracking and technical software to maximize workflow efficiencies, reduce redundant systems

  • Determine suitability of systems in terms of their intended outcomes for our development projects

  • Cross reference access and control measures for each reporting tool

  • Trouble shoot, train and mentor development staff in using tools to achieve project success

  • Write and maintain best practices documentation on the use and integration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 5+ years' experience with preference for candidates that specifically have worked in the real estate field including for development, management or community development organizations, or real estate finance organizations (banks, etc.)

  • Strong professional written and verbal communications skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro

  • Familiarity with Yardi, Smartsheet and SharePoint preferred but not required.

  • Ability to learn how to navigate new software and online programs quickly and easily

  • Enjoyment working as a team, and helping others complete tasks as needed

  • Ability to interact professionally and productively with outside consultants and vendors

  • Ability to complete tasks quickly and meet deadlines

  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing and expediting results

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops for professional development

  • Knowledge of real estate development terminology preferred but not required
