Location: The Brewery, Murphy Park, Preservation Square and Renaissance Place at Grand - St. Louis, Missouri and Parsons Place East St. Louis, IL

Property Description: 

Several different locations consisting of Market, Tax Credit, Public Housing and Project Based Section 8 apartments.

 

Shift:

Seasonal position starting Memorial Day to Labor Day. A rotation schedule Saturday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and/or 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (when school is in session)

Responsibilities include:

  • Add the necessary chemicals to maintain the proper water chemistry balance throughout the swimming season.
  • Test pool water every hour, document and record as required by the Department of Health. Vacuum pool daily and backwash filter system as needed.
  • Clean and maintain restroom areas before and at end of shift.
  • Clean deck area within the pool by hosing and sweeping.
  • Check I.D. cards and/or badges for pool entry and enforce all rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and keep all records as required by the health department and any additional records at the request of management as well as other duties assigned by the manager.

 Qualifications:           

  • Three to six months experience with swimming or related water sports
  • Ability to obtain or provide CPR Certification
  • Lifeguard Certification may be required
  • Adherence to the dress code as established by management, use protective equipment when necessary, and follow safety procedures
