Position: Risk Management Coordinator

Location: Corporate- St. Louis, MO

McCormack Baron Asset Management provides a variety of asset management services for the McCormack Baron portfolio of communities as well as for other third-party-owned properties.

The primary goal of McCormack Baron Asset Management is to provide customized services to multi-family partnerships and assist the property management companies and asset managers to maximize the potential of the asset.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all Incident Reporting, including review, research, distribution, folder creation/documentation, and updates to spreadsheets
  • Tracking all water intrusion incidents, confirming with the sites they are following procedures/protocol
  • Coordination and tracking of any/all IOC work with the Environmental Consultant that is recommended or approved by management.
  • Updating Yardi/Compliance on down unit requests and reasons for the unit being down
  • Creating and maintaining training materials and updates
  • Sending out training announcement and tracking updates
  • Distribute materials to Site Teams
  • Review of department email inbox including responding to open items in a timely manner and notifying Risk Manager of any actionable items
  • Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Risk Management or related field and/or a high desire to get risk management experience
  • Strong work history in past positions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and maintain follow-up on a number of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and be resourceful
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Concur preferred
