Job Description:           

  • Responsible for work on all requests for various types of maintenance work assigned by the Site Manager
  • Carry out responsibilities of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other typical apartment repairs
  • Work with Site Manager and the on-site staff to insure that all activities are conducted in compliance with local, state, federal, housing, safety and OSHA laws
  • Adhere to dress code as established by management.
  • Use protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures
  • Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner
  • Complete work orders manually and on the computer
  • Ability to maintain and upkeep maintenance shop for inventories on parts, tools and supplies


  • At least two (2) years' maintenance technician experience required, specifically in an apartment community
  • Customer service experience required
  • Dependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities is required
  • Maintain a vehicle, valid state driver's license and current insurance is required
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Must be available for snow removal during winter months
  • Be available for emergency on-call
